About the program

A program designed for the real clinical setting.

QxALS brings physiology, monitoring, teamwork, and cause-directed problem-solving together in the perioperative setting. The goal is not to repeat an algorithm, but to turn knowledge into a coordinated, observable clinical response.

Comprehensive update · 2025 international guidelines

Comprehensive 2025 update. The guidelines changed. So did QxALS.

QxALS Adult was reviewed after the 2025 international publications. It incorporates the general update in resuscitation science, with particular emphasis on special circumstances and on interpreting arrest in the perioperative setting.

Updated international science. Decisions adapted to the operating room.

QxALS does more than repeat algorithms. It translates general and special recommendations to the witnessed, monitored patient with a potentially identifiable cause in the operating room.

QxALS is an independent educational program developed by REASEL. References to ILCOR, AHA, ERC, ASA, and PeRLS are for academic purposes and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, certification, or institutional support from those organizations.
