Personal data protection

Full privacy notice

  • Prevent fraud, unauthorized access, misuse of benefits and breaches of security or intellectual property.
  • Handle inquiries, complaints, ARCO rights and document retention obligations.

Secondary and optional purposes

With separate authorization, we may send REASEL news, announcements, content, surveys and promotions. You may refuse or withdraw this authorization without affecting your registration, certification or access to contracted services.

Operational contact directory

Optionally and separately from promotional communications, you may authorize REASEL to store your name, email address and phone number in its Google Contacts operational directory, with course, venue and date labels, for academic and administrative coordination. This authorization does not permit advertising and does not replace optional marketing consent. You may decline without affecting your enrollment and request revocation through the privacy channels listed in this notice.

4. Processors, transfers and international operations

To provide services, REASEL may use providers for technology, storage, transactional email, online learning, payments, electronic signatures, videoconferencing, support and analytics. They act on behalf of REASEL and receive only the information needed for their functions.

Strictly necessary data may also be disclosed to:

  • Participating universities, academic organizations and certifying entities.
  • Authorized centers, venues and instructors responsible for the course.
  • Accountants, advisers, auditors and authorities when an applicable obligation or basis exists.
  • Payment and invoicing providers selected by the data subject.

Some providers may process information outside Mexico. REASEL seeks to use appropriate contractual mechanisms, security settings and minimization criteria for these operations.

5. Retention, blocking and deletion

Data is retained for the time needed to fulfill the stated purposes and applicable legal, tax, contractual, academic or limitation periods. Academic and certification records may be retained while needed to verify authenticity, validity or history.

When information is no longer needed, it will be deleted, anonymized or blocked as appropriate. Photographs and record documents are subject to specific periods within the system and role-based access controls.

6. ARCO rights, withdrawal and limitation

You may request at any time:

  • Access: to know the data we hold and the conditions of its processing.
  • Rectification: to correct inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information.
  • Cancellation: to request that REASEL cease to hold the data, when appropriate.
  • Objection: to request that processing stop in applicable circumstances.
  • Withdrawal: to withdraw previously given consent.
  • Limitation: to stop receiving secondary communications or restrict certain uses.

Submit your request at /privacidad/solicitud or by email to legal@reaselatinoamerica.com. You must identify yourself and clearly describe the data or right you wish to exercise. For rectification, specify the change and provide supporting documentation.

REASEL will communicate its determination within a maximum of twenty business days of receiving the complete request. If granted, it will be implemented within the following fifteen business days. These periods may be extended once for an equal period when circumstances justify it.

7. Security and confidentiality

REASEL applies administrative, technical and physical measures proportionate to the information, including role-based access, private storage, temporary links, event logging, authentication, encryption in transit, backups and permission reviews.

No system eliminates all risk. When a breach significantly affects people’s rights, REASEL will take the appropriate containment and communication actions.

8. Código REASEL mobile app

App-specific section · version 1.0 · September 25, 2026.

This section supplements the notice for the mobile app Código REASEL: Simulación; it does not replace rules applicable to other REASEL platforms and activities. The app is intended for training and practice in simulated scenarios with manikins and fictitious data. Do not enter real patient names, records or information. It must not be used with patients or during clinical care. This educational scope does not itself constitute authorization for clinical use or a regulatory classification.

Data the app may store

To review a simulation, the app stores a random identifier and data such as dates, duration, configured rate, ventilation mode and sequence of recorded events in private device storage—for example, adrenaline records, electrical therapy and simulation outcome. It may also retain a limited technical operating log with date, component, event type and severity and, in some cases, a safe technical error category. The app has no fields for patient names, email, records or identifiers. Nevertheless, a simulation’s time and context could link a file to a known event; treat these records as potentially sensitive and do not associate them with real people.

Use, storage and transfers

In the current version, sessions and diagnostics are processed locally. The app does not create an account or automatically send records to REASEL, a REASEL server, analytics, advertising or attribution. Simply using the app does not give REASEL a copy. Records document and review simulations for training; they do not themselves amount to competency assessment or certification. Operating system services, the installation store and external sites or apps you choose to open may process information under their own notices and controls.

If you export a session or diagnostic, the app prepares the file after your confirmation and opens the system share picker. You may document the simulation or review it in a debriefing and with educational resources you choose. You select the destination, which may store, synchronize or share its own copy. REASEL does not control this or delete files outside app storage. Information and support links also require your action and open the device browser or email; the app does not automatically attach sessions or diagnostics.

Retention and local control

Sessions remain on the device until deleted from simulation review or the app is uninstalled. Technical diagnostics have a local limit; older events may be displaced at that limit. The app offers no accounts and stores no sessions on a REASEL server, so there is no remote account to request deletion of. Exported copies must be deleted in the app or service where saved. On Android, local session records are excluded from automatic backup and device transfer configured by the app.

If a future version adds accounts, synchronization, remote services, analytics, advertising or other material processing, REASEL will update this notice and store declarations before offering those features. The policy does not prevent expansion; it requires accurate information when data processing changes.

For questions about app data or to exercise rights regarding information REASEL has received, write to legal@reaselatinoamerica.com. Records remaining only on your device are viewed and deleted within the app.

9. Cookies and measurement technologies

The site uses essential functions for security, navigation, forms and saving preferences. Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics remain disabled until you authorize analytics measurement in the preferences panel.

You can change your decision at any time using the Privacy preferences button in the footer.

10. Notice changes and applicable law

Relevant changes will be published at this same address with the version and effective date. When a change requires new authorization, REASEL will request it through the corresponding channel.

This notice is issued under applicable Mexican rules on personal data held by private parties and must be interpreted together with the specific terms of the corresponding program or relationship.
